Hi there! I'm Tiffany , the owner of The Lightening Society salon.
As a stylist , my favorite thing is to enhance and transform my guests hair through lightening and depth .
I have always especially been passionate about blonding and bob haircuts.
I love staying on top of the latest trends in hair and fashion, ensuring you leave my chair feeling and looking cool and confident .
But hair isn't all I love! I'm also a Libra , artist , proud vegan mama of two, and have an awesome partner who helped me build what you see today at TLS.
My personal story has motivated me to support manifestations and create a salon space that other independent stylists would thrive . My goal is to foster a welcoming successful community . Let's create something amazing together!

Hi. I’m Matti and I’ve been doing hair for 13 years! I specialize in all things blonde and haircutting. I love creating lived-in hair that grows out super soft and grows out effortlessly! We can create a grow out and a refresh plans that suits both your lifestyle & budget!
Outside of the salon, I am mom to one human child and two little puppy children! I love shows and movies- I guarantee you’ll leave every appointment with a new watchlist!
I love to go camping, and hiking. I’m passionate about all things crafty including crocheting, painting, drawing, needle punching, and creating digital artwork.

Hi! I’m Amber! I graduated from a Paul Mitchell school in 2008 and have been working in Portland doing hair for 16 years now! Over the years I have done multiple trainings and classes with Paul Mitchell, Oribe, Hanzo, Kevin Murphy and more. I love staying current with hair trends and continuing my education.
I specialize in working with thick long hair and mixed textures but feel confident with all heads of hair. I love creating dimension lived in blondes, grey blending and vibrant copper reds. I also pride myself in working fast and efficiently and offering color solutions that can grow out beautifully to accommodate maintenance based on my clients preferences.
I am also a personal trainer, reiki practitioner ( see my reiki scalp massage on my list of services! ) and single mom of 2. I love making people feel good on the inside as well as the outside. In my free time I am usually with my kids and our chihuahua Lucy. I love staying active, cooking plant based, training jiu jitsu and in general, I dork out on all things health and wellness. I hope to meet you soon!

Welcome! My name is Sam (she/her) and I have been a hairstylist since 2014. I joined The Lightening Society Salon in 2023, and have loved it so much! Giving timeless, easy-care, quality haircuts is my art form of choice. I also enjoy educating my clients on our Kevin Murphy product, and how choosing the right product for you can make your hair-care even easier, healthier, more beautiful. My goal is to leave my clients feeling refreshed and confident, and consulting with them to bring their vision to life.
In my free time I love nothing more than having fun with my husband and twins, early morning walks, listening to all kinds of music, and reading by the fire with my two cats.

Hello and welcome! My name is Phoenix! I am a hair stylist and extension specialist in Portland Oregon at The Lightening Society Salon in SE PDX.
I am professionally certified with many brands such as Bellami, Great Lengths & Hairtalk. I offer a variety of methods to accommodate a wide variety of client needs such as tape ins, wefts, and keratin tips. I have been passionate about experimenting with extensions for over 15 years. With specific focus on extreme short to long transformations as well as providing healthy options for clients with fine and thinning hair. I am known for my calm and communicative demeanor as well as my relentless attention to detail.
